About Healthy Community Initiative (HCI)

Healthy Community Initiative (HCI) was founded in the vibrant and diverse community of Greater Mundri Community by Boboya Gabu in the year 2021. This Community Based Organization (CBO) was born out of Mr. Gabu’s dedication and visionary deep-seated desire to address the pressing health challenges faced by the local community of Greater Mundri and create a sustainable framework for improvement and environment that foster a culture of health and wellness.

Objectives:
Promoting Health Education:
HCI aims to empower community members with knowledge about health and hygiene, offering educational programs on topics ranging from nutrition and disease prevention to personal hygiene practices. Access to Healthcare:
Recognizing the importance of accessible healthcare, HCI strives to bridge gaps by organizing medical camps, facilitating health screenings, and advocating for improved healthcare infrastructure within the community. Sanitation and Cleanliness:
A clean environment is fundamental to good health. HCI actively engages in sanitation initiatives, promoting waste management, clean water access, and hygiene practices that contribute to a healthier living space. Foster community empowerment and active participation in health-related initiatives. Advocate for policies and initiatives that prioritize community health and well-being.
